Bealtaine Spring Irish Language Classes

Classes will be offered at three levels:

1. Beginner

2. Intermediate

3. Upper-Intermediate

OPTION 1: BEGINNER IRISH

Runs Monday Evenings from 6 - 7:30 pm until June 28.

The beginner Irish class is intended for those who have little or no previous experience with the Irish language.  

OPTION 2: INTERMEDIATE IRISH 

(TEG A1)

May 20 to June 17, Thursdays 6-7 pm.

Course Description: Participants should have previously participated in a beginner-level or intermediate-level class. They should be familiar with simple vocabulary and sentences that relate to everyday life, e.g. they should be able to give a very basic description of themselves, where they live, and their daily routine. Course Instruction: Teaching will be delivered using a mixture of English and simple Irish.

OPTION 3: UPPER-INTERMEDIATE IRISH 

(TEG A2)

May 20 to June 17, Thursdays 6-7 pm.

Course Description: Participants should have participated in one or more intermediate classes. They should be able to carry on a simple conversation in Irish. Teaching will be delivered mostly in Irish with some English.
