Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is a national and international movement, providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy and participate in the traditions of Ireland that have been passed down through the generations.  It is the primary Irish organization dedicated to the promotion of the music, song, dance and the language of Ireland. The organisation was founded in 1951 and has promoted Irish music and culture among the Irish people and the Irish diaspora.
